My HD list never ends, as soon as I do something she just keeps adding to it. She told me one time that I always build for other people but her. I was quick...I told her they right me checks then she said " I feed & take care of you do they". I try to build her things as much as I can.

I do one Honey-do list once a year, right after Christmas/New Years, but I don't think this counts. My wife doesn't work and doesn't go out unless I'm with her. she has her own car, but I am the only one that drives it. I approve all purchases and expenditures and decide on all family matters. Many of my friends wives don't like me or want their husbands to come by, maybe because they will see something they don't want them to see, happy people.

A "honey do" list that starts after new years? That's like shooting a deer right behind the ear--- there's one heck of a lot of deer stretching out behind it's ears, lol.

I do one Honey-do, and I offer do do it. I am very fortunate to be married to a woman who never asks me for anything, never tells me she wants anything, and almost never talks to other women. Trust me that last one is a big deal, nothing worse than a women that talks to other women, pretty soon they think they are head of the home or can do what they want.

With us remodeling amd moving into my moms house, I'm getting this 4 fold. One change leads to 3-4 others.
I love the "we" concept too..., she makes decisions and spends the money, I do all the work

Smart man. The man that argues with a woman is waging a war against himself, she's not playing, you are.
