The 140 pictured in the first post is an H3, you can see two of the three levers left of the wheel.

Well, still haven't heard from the owner so I think he most likely sold it. :wallbanging:

 

Would have been a great deal, and somebody did get a great deal it looks like! Oh well, thanks for the input!

I would but I got too many in the works now....lol...a chance to get 1050 with hydro, a 16 hp monkey wards..both have mower decks and tillers and a push blade.....both have been in a barn for the last 10 years...just got a ford, but no mower deck....and last but not least...trying to pick up a massey 14, massey 16 and a m/m....I got the bug...lol...i'll know buy the end of the month on all of them....so I was looking for a j/d to round out the list..the best part is I got the grand kids involved in restoring with me....only thing I wish...is I would have started picking them up 20 years ago....lol

Wow, sounds like you got the bug pretty bad! I maybe up your way this weekend trading a Cub for a Bolens H16 with tiller. Haven't ironed out the details yet or decided if I should or not. Cub Cadet 582 is what I have and I really like them, but no hydro lift and it doesn't fit with the rest of the Bolens.

Amitypete - are you located near Amity? If so, I'm just over the hill at Hopewell and would like to touch bases with you sometime.

 

Oregon_Bolens - might you be looking for a Bolens 1600 Hydro Eliminator (with deck and blade)? I've got one for sale.

I use to own a 1600 Bolens.  Good mower. Ran great.  I liked the cruise control on it too.
