Bought a gt17 about a year ago, and it came with a few goodies. Out of all of them I don't have a need for a snow blower. So I'm thinking about selling it or trading for a log splitter or something. I haven't used it and I believe it's a 48" I don't know if it's missing anything, just trying to find out a general idea of what to ask for it. If I even knew how how to hook it up, I might consider keeping it, but we don't usually get a whole lot of snow on eastern va. Thanks. Charles

Some up north say not much, but I see Ariens blowers going for 300.00 plus regularly, I paid 75.00 for my last Allis blower and saw another for 250.00, look on craigslist in your area to get an idea

Thanks for the reply okie. That's the thing we don't get much show here, maybe an average 4-8 inches a year. Most of the blowers are walk behind. So it's kinda rare to see them on craigslist. Thank you for the info.

They ship cheap, on a pallet, through Fastenal.  $100 to most anywhere, I bet.  The value will depend greatly on your area, or post it as willing to ship, and you open all sorts of doors.  Where I'm at, a blower is about as common as a mower deck, and usually in better shape.

I have the 831025 and the rakes are painted black. Otherwise it looks identical to yours.

I  do not know what the difference between all these models is, but i know the latter ones had a electric actuator for chute movement, other than that I don't know. I have manuals on these, but It would take some time to go through the and differentiate. I will say the GT12, 14, 16,17,18H's weren't very different tractors other than the engines, steering wheels, gas tanks, and seats, so I'd think there wasn't alot of differnce in the blowers either

I believe the main diff is that some models have a clutch on the left rake instead of a shearbolt, eg the 831025 vs the 831032.

The snowthrower you were thinking of selling didn't happen to end up being the 831025?  I am looking to possibly purchase one.
