I started cleaning and rebuilding the carb for the 1250 today, and the control rod which connects the governor lever and throttle lever broke. Im looking for a rod and clip that holds the rod on the govoner lever.
I hope someones got one to sell, Thanks Adam

Not sure if it's the same as the S8D, but if it is...
WIS VE844 - Pitt Auto Electric Company
WIS PK178 - Wisconsin Motors Engine Clip Rod End - Pitt Auto Electric Company

I don't know anything about the vendor, google led me to them.

I got the control rod today along with the clip needed to hold the rod. Bob, thank you for getting that out right before your surgery. Fair price, fast shipping and a nice guy to deal with.

Bob is always helpful with parts. I've bought from him also, and will in the future again I'm sure. I've spoken on the phone with him at length at least twice. As you said....great to deal with!
