Today everyone in our house still has their pajamas on in the afternoon (except me). I came into the house to warm my feet up for a bit and was looking over at the daughter (which is 5) trying to read what was written on her pajamas. Needing glasses to see things clear I told her to come over so I could read it. It said "its exhausting being perfect" . After saying the words without a second to spare with a straight and serious face looking directly at me she said "it actually is!"  The wife and I broke out laughing.

I just had to share this. It puts a smile on my face when they say the things they do. Anyone else's kids or grandkids say something cute or funny lately?

Our grandson (3 years old) was over one day, I had just come in for lunch (he had already eaten) he love Fritos as much as I do. So he says I wan a chip.  I correct him and say "Please my I have a chip", trying to teach him some manners.  He looks up at me and say "Sure you can and can I have one to?"  My wife and I cracked up.  Art Linkletter was right!

About two years ago my family was going my sisters for a birthday, with my mom along for the ride. My youngest daughter asked my mom how old she was. My eldest daughter scolded her for it, and I quote: "Megan, that isn't polite to ask a woman how old they are. (long pause, enough for my mom to open her mouth to say thanks, but then) "Old people hate that, Megan."

I darn near had a bucksnort.

Haha bill. That reminds me some what of my little cousin.

She said me instead of I.

My aunt tried and tried to get her to stop this habit.

One day we were all standing in the kitchen and she runs up to her mom

"Me want a drink of water"

My aunt responds "I want a drink of water"

My little cousin gets a puzzled look on her face. "Me don't care if you want a drink. ME WANTS A DRINK OF WATER!!"

Everyone was laughing so hard we were crying.

Nate, the youngest of my 4 kids is almost 9 now, so I don't get as many of those hilariously funny moments as I used to, when they were younger. However I was playing with my 5 year old nephew (Noah) the other day. He ran over and kicked me, then proceeded to run away. I saw him run down the hall, and hide behind the door, so I quietly crept up to the door he was behind, and jumped around the door, and very loudly said Booooo! What happened next was hilarious. It startled him so bad that he screamed like a girl, and with a shocked look on his face he said "you screamed like a girl". I said "Noah, that wasn't me, it was you.". With a look of horror on his face, he threw both of his hands over his mouth, then proceeded to say "Uncle Matt, you can't tell anyone I did that, pleeease!"  I about died laughing, and then said I wouldn't tell, as he was very concerned. It was one of the funniest moments, I have had in awhile. I guess I broke my promise by telling all of GTalk, but hopefully he'll never know. :bigrofl:
