Ya got a good welder there Bill,I bought a Lincoln 130 in 1995 and have had zero problems with it,good machines.
Pick your self up some extra contact tips because when your last one goes bad the store will be CLOSED also pick up a jar of nozzle dip or as i call it nozzle snot,it will make cleaning out the spatter in the gas cup easer.
While these work great for thin work, anything thicker than say 1/8" do what Cvan said tack em and burn some rods.
