I'm trying to hook up my snowblower. I'm not sure on the belt routing, it hits the bracket on the bottom of the PTO clutch. Anybody have any ideas what I'm doing wrong.

Is this the single stage or two stage blower?

I think this is the manual you are looking for?
http://gardentractor...-auger-38-inch/. It's for the 38" single stage snow auger.

Looks like page 14, figure 25.

That should be this one, I think.

I'll send you a PM! Look at the top/right of a page for a red # showing you have a PM.

The clutch retainer on mine in on the bottom on mine, it looks like it needs to be moved to the top. Can somebody show me good pictures or tell me how that bracket fastens? They talk about a nylon washer and unsnapping it.

I don't have a snow blower, so I can't help with that part. Hopefully someone will chime in on this.

I have had a snowblower mounted on my Jacobsen Chief 1000 and a Ford 120. Is there any way you can post a picture of what you are looking at? I can probably help but I want to see what you are looking at. I don't have either of them anymore otherwise I would show you how mine looks.

I can't get it to attach a pic from my phone. My belt hits the clutch support which on mine is on the bottom of the clutch and it looks like they move it to the top but I'm not sure how.

I see what you mean, I am not sure on this one. Can you adjust the bracket on the front axle so it sits up higher? Is it possible that the blower is for an older model tractor with a lower stance? The angle of the belt just doesn't look right to me.
