The snow gods are against me, for those of you that follow the forums ( daily like me, my wife says i should get a life) my wife said i could get a tractor for christmas then dec 27 was my birthday, no tractor anywhere to be found, last night i find a tractor that i have wanted for a long time, its 2 hrs from home covered in snow but its either a late rj or early surburban, its does not have tires and rims but who cares it looks complete otherwise and only $100, so last night i make the deal clean out the back of the truck at 11:00 set the alarm and coffee pot for 6:00 to wake up to a foot of snow and 2 foot drifts down my street, i am in a snow belt so the smart thing to do is stay home. NO WAY im going for it, well i just spent the last 1/2 hr struggling to get my truck back the 100 yds i made it down the road then stopped. WHAT WAS I THINKING (yeh i know "new toy") hopefully the seller will understand and hold it for me, if not CURSE YOU SNOW GODS!!!!!!!!

Better to be safe than sorry. Hopefully the seller will understand and you can get out there later or tomorrow.

Until then, SEAT TIME !

Well, if it's 2 hrs away from you, there's a 33% chance that it's 2 hrs away

from me. It's not snowing here. Hmmmm. I've always wanted a WH. :smilewink:  :smilewink:

Just kidding. I hope he hangs on to it for you.

Its better to be safe. We have only an inch so far but its keeping me from an 85 C20 and a pair of Cub inside the rim wheel weights. If you don't get it, it wasn't meant to be. Good Luck and stay safe, Rick

Bundle up REALLY good and drive a tractor - if it has a fast high gear you might be home by dark!

Having to wait also before being able to grab a Simplicity so i feel your pain. Wishing you the best of luck.

I figured if it is to snow all the time here in Mass might as well make money off of it, tonight i will go out.

I took a ride up north the other day to pickup an MTD 812 I found. There's lots of good deals out there on tractors this time of year, but it seems like they're all long distances away.... Why can't stuff pop up closer to me?
