I have a 1995 Ford F250 with a 7.3L PowerStroke engine in it. The glow plug relay quit working last week, spent some time today replacing it after the new one showed up in the mail.
I used a Western Plow relay # 56131-K, after reviewing posts in the PowerStroke forums on the subject. Best thing about this particular relay: better/heavier-duty than stock, at least as heavy-duty as an often-mentioned Stancor replacement relay, but way less than HALF the price (currently $14.99) of the Stancor relay (cheapest I could find was >$70 including shipping), so I got an extra one to put on the shelf. Ordered it from Russo Power Equipment.. Here's a link to the relay.....
The picture on the site shows a relay with the mounting plate on the side, but the ones I received have the mounting plate on the base of the relay, allowing the posts to be vertical, which is how they are oriented on the stock relay.
Thought I'd pass on the tip for a cheaper alternative for a heavy-duty glow plug relay.
