I received some very nice presents from our children and grandchildren . The best present was the time that George and I were able to spend in the garage the last several days working on the tractors. That was one of the reasons for moving to our new home, that and being closer to our daughter and her two sons.

Wow you guys got some great stuff this year !

As I just got some new equipment for my business we really didn't go crazy for Jen (she's getting a new car/truck ?) and I but did for the family hers and mine, but my Mom and Sis really hit the mark this year they got me a great pair of (as they call them) snowblowing gloves, thinsulate 40 gram tall gauntlet, water-proof, rubber palm, really nice gloves very warm.

And my best friend Bo (we are to much alike) found me a mug that looks like a Canon Camera Zoom lens, coolest thing I've ever seen (we're both Canon fans) where he found it I'll never know but it's going up on the shelf it's to nice to use, but the lens filters I gave him will definitely see allot of use LOL !

Ranchkingron,
That is the coolest mug. When I first looked at the picture, I was sure you were proud of your new "l" glass. That is a real conversation piece. I'm a fellow Canon enthusiast.

I've been a camera guy forever. I've worked in camera stores and labs. I used to fix photofinishing machines for a living. That mug had me fooled. That is a very cool mug. Do they make them in Nikon?

And on another note...I got an e-mail from a friend today telling me to go to my local beer store and show them my ID. I complied. He convinced these guys to take his credit card number over the phone (he's in Britain) and bought me a variety pack of the Fort Garry Brewing Company's finest.

Now that's a good idea. How are they?
We're a funny lot here in PA, we'd probably have to use a money order. You can't buy beer in a convenience store and only a few Grocery stores. The stores have to have an isolated areas called "cafes" and you're allowed to drink up to 2 on-site, but you can't go into the main part of the store with beer in you cart. Way too complicated for something so simple.

The mug was made by a company called Cuplens and after searching it it looks like the only licensing they have is for Canon sorry about that, Bo told me he tried all over online to get one but they were all sold out so he had his SIL find one in Hong Kong and ship it here.

Correction I just found they do have a Nikon one I guess it's just a matter of searching for it.

To tell the truth when I unwrapped I was floored and thought man he went way over the line with this, thinking it was a lens then it hit me this thing is really light it cant be real lol !
