I have a G10, model 1055 Bolens garden tractor that was purchased in 1967.  I got it from a person in MA, however the linkage to the carb is not there.  Does anyone know how the linkage is supposed to go?  It has a Briggs engine with an updraft carb.  I can attach some pictures if needed so you might see what I am talking about.  Any help would be appreciated.

Welcome to GTT!

Don't know where you got the year from but the G10 was not made until 1973.......

Assuming the engine is original your G10 would be either a 1976 or 1977 Model

I cant help you with a picture but there are plenty of people who have these who should be able to provide you with a good picture of how the linkage should go.

If you post the model-type-code of the Briggs engine I (or anyone else) can figure out what linkage you need.

Welcome to the forum!

There isn't much to the linkage.A rod goes to a spring and connects to a Cradle shaped doo-dad.

My G11 should have the same setup.

Excuse the rather crude drawing but it should get you started.lol

Found this in my HB112 directory.  Not sure where it came from but it may help as well.
