Ended up I got more than expected.  2 shadow boxes to put keepsakes in, a pair of warm house shoes, a new Crafts,am soft tool bag, and a Craftsman multimeter!

My old meter was all scratched & hard to see the numbers.  Glad to have a fresh one!

Part of mine does not come till tomorrow. My daughter and SIL flies in from California and my youngest daughter finishes up her work at a children's hospital (cancer floor)they will be here by Thursday evening.
Having them home a long with my 81 year old mother (who flew up the first time since my dad passed away) and local daughter and SIL with my 9 month old grand daughter ---best gift of all......just miss having dad here with us.

My New to me JB and all the glitter that came with it was my gift to me- my wife's approval for me doing all this crazy stuff was her gift to me!

Oh yeah, did get some cash from mom and in-laws to spend as I wish.........maybe some tires or new seats for one of the BH's.......got to think on this one.

Merry Christmas to all! May you and your family be blessed!

Trying not to sound like a sap here.. but truthfully.. Money couldn't buy what i got. My heart opened up to those that need our love, compassion, and help.  We have a roof over our head food on the table (raise and grow most of our own). My wife and son are healthy thank god. My father handed my wife and me some money to spend on something that we would not normally spend money on. Well i just can't bring myself to do it. Could save it but in my eyes it's not life changing amount to us. I'm trying to sort out how to make it more to help more folks.  Please Love your family with all your heart. There is so much loss every day yet it just seems worse when its near this time of year.

We got books, all kinds of books. Cheeses, all kinds of cheeses. And a sunny day at only -10C. What more can we ask? I plowed all the walking trails yesterday so Olddeere#2 can take the dogs walking and do the Christmas bird count--- I'll count the ones in the yard and at the feeder, and that's our Christmas. Supper will be oysters and a lobster, something we didn't raise ourselves.
