Something about the early 70's Masseys just stops me in my tracks.  The color combination, the hood, nose ring and grill, so faithfully copied from the full size tractors, even the stance of the tractor is just perfect to me.

The older two wheel Gravely models also seem to be perfect to me.  The clean hood lines, lack of any thing like electric start, just two handle bars, and engine and the wheels is just right.  I must confess, the  4 wheel models leave me cold.

Now, for tractors or brands I'd like to own.  Money permitting, I find the high-wheel Case tractors, the big wheel MTD 990s and the Sears FF to be intriguing tractors.  I know Case made tractors for Massey at some point in the 90's so one of those would fit nicely into my Massey collection.  Someone has painted a FF in Massey colors out in the Kansas area, so that shows what could be done if I find a FF that needs a paint job.

In my case it would have to be the Economy/Power King/Jim Dandy line. Best looking GT out there. Definitely "old school"! Now if only I could afford one.

All time favorite brand has to be Gravely 2 wheelers, I guess.  For riding tractors, I love the way Masseys look.  If I was on one all day I would probably want a big Simplicity gear drive with hydraulic lift.

For the Bolens guys benefit, Old Buzzard's Bolens 1886 is growing on me.  I kinda like it.  Even though it is a Bolens.

I hate picking favorites.

Oh yeah, to answer the question, I like my Bolens tractors, but kinda partial the old Cub Cadets, too. I abused the heck out of my dad's (1250 if I remember correctly) when I was a kid, and it's still going strong.

After some serious reflection, I've gotta say that My All Time Favorite brand Tractor would have to be:

All the wonderful ones shared here by all members of The GTtalk family. I've learned alot and look forward seeing more as time goes by.

All the best of the Season to you all., Merry Christmas and a Safe and Prosperous New Year !

My current favorite has to be the Simplicity and Allis Chalmers brands.

Tough

Strong

Reliable

Easy to service and repair

Repair posts still available (mostly)

Endless number of attachments available (I still need a couple, sickle mower and power sweeper)

On the other side of the coin I have owned and used with respect:

16 HP Senator brand(have never seen another)

Jacobsen chief 1200

Several cub cadets

Ford LGT 145 and 100

Bolens 1050

Sears GT

I think the key here for most of us is the enjoyment of reviving and using equipment that was built well and built to last.

I especially like the brands that also had farm equipment. John Deere, Massey Ferguson, Case, Allis Chalmers, Ford, Cub Cadet. These are my favorites. I like how they are often styled after the shape of a farm tractor.
