Hey guys!  I'm a little slow getting back to everyone on this.  We put in a new 26R battery, put in a new Champion J19LM spark plug, and put some Sea Foam in the gas tank.  The throttle cable turned out to be fine.  I did order a new flat grip #720-0142 from MTD direct, and a NLA grip #720-0143 that I found NOS on eBay.  Turns out Stens knocks off the PTO pulley #756-0183 with their equivalent #280-115 so we got one of those.  Since one of the original glass GE Par 36 headlights was broke out, we ordered new Sylvania 55091 halogens so they'll match.  We don't have any service records, so full synthetic 5w-20 will be going in till the spring when straight non detergent 30W oil will go in.  A new Fram PH-16 filter and six quarts of John Deere Hy-Gard hydraulic fluid were also purchased to change when we do the oil.  The only thing I noticed was it didn't want to turn to the left much.  Making right turns was easy, so that will have to be looked into.  Also, the seat works but it doesn't feel like it is well balanced, so I will take a look at what is the best option for that as well.  Here are some pictures.
