Yikes!  That seems steep to me, but I'd have to imagine Powerking signs are scarce.  It looks like a '70's era sign, and they just don't fetch as much as something older and painted/porcelain.

 

FYI...I had a 2'x5' sighted Simplicity sign shipped from VA to MI for $80, because the seller was willing to put it on a pallet and brace it.

 

I've given up to $350 for a nice, complete and operating, lighted dealer sign, similar to have you have shown here, but cannot imagine paying more, especially if it had to be retrieved or shipped.  That one sure is nice though!!  I've seen service center indoor lighted signs with the clock built in, go for $500+, however.
