I wanted to put this up also but didn't want to take away from the Oliver topic. These came after Minneapolis-Moline and before Oliver/White. I refer to them as the "blue" White and the later ones the "red" White, respectively. This is another interesting article. I've had the privilege of visiting the author at his home and seeing his collection. He is a very kind, easy-going guy that loves these tractors. In his article he states he is unsure who made the later WHITEs. I have a "silver" White also and they were in fact made for White Motor Co. by MTD. From what I've read, WMC wanted a broader line of consumer products than Jacobsen was capable of and/or willing to do and I believe MTD and WMC were corporate neighbors in Ohio...?...which may have been another reason for the change.

Here's a picture of a model 114 that I picked up in Nebraska. I may need a few donor parts...
...and although it's the wrong forum, just for grins my GT-1650 for reference to White.
