I got the hog fired up this afternoon and did a little testing. Man, it's strong even with the Chineese 13 clone engine. really should do well with the 16hp Briggs in it. Here's a couple little videos.

This is just limping to the shop to blow up the tires.

Hydro feels really good.

Haven't even started on it yet. Just wanted to drive it and test out the Hydro. It is needing a good paint job and the right engine before it looks good!!

But, it's a runner right now!

Isn't that kind of dangerous, letting the tractor race around the yard like that, unmanned? :smilewink:

Hydro looks good and strong.

At the :08 mark of the first video, just when the seat back clears the pallet, I saw a snake.

I watched these video's just after you uploaded them.  Great to see it going, and the hydro seems strong!

Brian, if you change to some more aggressive rubber you'll get those front wheels up easier. The hydro is loading the engine down pretty good so it certainly seems healthy and capable of transferring the engine power to the wheels. Those clones are a nice engine. Quiet and easy on fuel. I don't think they have the low speed torque of the old L head engines but in a hydro that's not  much of an issue.

Peter, The Free Wheel valve was open on the Hydro. If it's not open, you can't roll them around hardly at all.

Good to see it going, Brian. Can't wait to see what you do with it by this years gathering at Ball Hollow!
