I picked this gem up at a local auction. I'm looking for some help on figuring out what I have here. If I was to guess, I say it was a York rake at some point. It has been hacked and changed on. It now is fixed to go on the back of a Sears 3pt. I'm sure I can use it behind my JD with a cat 0, but I just want to know everyone's opinion on what they think it is or was. There are no tags or markings on it that I can see. I can see the area where at one point, it was adjustable to angle.
What do y'all think?

I don't recognize that one. A few years back a friend of mine had a York Rake with a set of gauge wheels on it. That did a great job on gravel driveways. It's worth the effort to adapt it IMO.

Yup, it's the vintage, Modern York, even with some original paint on it yet.  The one's we're used to seeing here for garden tractors was the model RM....I cannot tell if that was never an RM.  How wide is it?

I have an RM here, and will look....that plate with the 5 holes may be the angle adjustment bracket like what's on my RM.  I've had a handful of them, and they work fantastic.  I know Modern York made a wide variety of models, as well as 3pt units of various sizes.  Yours could be another model.

Thats what I was thinking Josh.  Thanks for confirming.  I wonder if mine could have been originally with the guage wheels at the back, and someone took all that off.  Its hard to say.  The 3pt configuring on it now is definitely home made.  I'll try to get some measurements tomorrow.  Im still in the process of moving, and have no idea where my tape measure is.

I also failed to mention the price I got it for at the auction.  I went back and forth with this one guy.  I thought he was going to go above my limit, but thankfully he quit.  I got to take it home for $12.50.  Thats not a typo!!
