Can I date the tractor off of the Hydro? Mine came with no engine and no ID tag.

Titus mentioned it before in another thread as a possible way to date them. I have only collected tractor and motor serial numbers at this point.

 

These JB's would be easier to find out, since we do not have that many listed at this point and several are owned by members on this forum.

 

Mine is covered in about 1/4 thick cover of oil/dirt.....hope to get it power washed off later this week.

 

From the price lists, the JB's series show up first in November 15, 1968 price list and were still listing them on the last list I have which is 1971.

Thanks guys. Is there anything else that can be dated. The tires are Armstrong on the rear. Do you think those are factory?
