While you guys are all having fun pushing snow I had to mow the grass. Dec. 14 and I had to mow. The whole yard did not need to be mowed so I was able to use the smaller JD nower as I have the mower decks off the bigger tractors.I take the mower decks off for the winter as we have 3- 4 shows here that I attend

The 165 certainly seems to be up to the task though. Lots of difference between your '165' you show here and your Fords? Which hydro control do you prefer?

I had a 185 and really liked it, but it was too small for 2.5 acres of lawn.

How about that!  i love mowing, and I love t-shirt weather!

I haven't seen grass here in 2 months...a month of snow, and a month of leaves before that.

I like the JD hydo, but have not used the Fords to mow with yet as I am just now getting a mower deck ready for next summer. I mow about 2 acres so the 165 is knida small. In the winter I do not mow that much at a time and it does a great job.

Froze my caboose off plowing earlier with 2 jackets and a hood due to the wind... Mowing in a thirty is foreign to me tonight :D

That looks like a good time to me. Short sleeves even! It's snowing and blowing here as the Nor' Easter gets going here. Theres already a few inches on the ground starting to drift. It's -10C 14F. It's supposed to snow, freezing rain, ice pellets and then rain. Temp going up to +3 for a few hours then back down to -3 before tomorrow morning. I'll trade weather with you if you're interested!

Man, that makes me jealous. I was out in the freezing rain/snow yesterday cleaning off sidewalks for a Bday party at my house. Now I'm curled up in my recliner with chest cold, I hate missing church.

Our service is cancelled for this morning as well. I'm the duty custodian for today which means I have to go up there later and shovel the entrances, apply salt etc. I don't mind really. It's a good cause!
