... a set of rims that will fit my Waterloo walk behind?  They are 5 on 4.5" bolt pattern with a 3" center hole and need to accept a 6-12 ag tire.  Seems simple, but I don't know where to go.  I've been to the JD parts department, Good Year, etc.  Anyone with any ideas?

Have you checked with Miller tire. They might have a lead on where to get them.

Though these don't look original they would get the job done

The three inch center is large. I bet that measurement is the difficult one to find.

I don't know of anything but good luck.

Those look like the common rim for GTs. Just checking, but are you sure its 4.5" and not 4.25"? All the rims I have laying around are 4.25" with a 3" center. The hubs look close to the same as a simplicity. That's the only reason I'm questioning the bolt pattern.

Hard to tell from the picture but can the rim be repaired ? Miller in the USA and Huron Tire in Ontario can get most anything what I did was put a blank rim on the Empire hub another friend with a Planet Jr. removed a center from a spare rim and mount the Planet Jr. flat bars to the rim.Worked fine and nobody would ever know. I have one to do now, and either getting another rim blank or use fiberglass mat and resin inside the rim to protect the tube from chafing and close up the enlarged valve hole. I thought for Simplicity,  Motor Wheel was the rim manufacturer and it was a fairly common pattern I will check my Waterloo. Good luck Mike

something like this maybe.........http://www.millertir...4-5-bolt-wheel/

Alc:  Yes, some of them do look like they would work.  I wonder if I can get them in Canada.  If not, shipping will kill me.

bread320i: Yes, it is the 3: center hole that is causing me grief.

Nato77:  I am reasonable sure they are 4.5" not 4.25".  I've had two shops measure them with the same result.  I've also measured them & the bolts are 2 5/8" & 4 1/4" center to center.

Mike Unwin: I'm looking for a second set of rims.  The existing set has a pair of 5-12 (loaded) ag tires on them.  They are getting repainted.  I have a set of 6-12 tires that I'd like to get mounted & have as spares.  I think the ones in your link would be perfect.  I hope I can find them in Canada.

You might also try checking if some rims from some farm equipment rims might fit as those look similar.

Car rims will fit I have seen this before.........http://ontario.kijij...QAdIdZ526220298

I talked to the lady at Miller USA and she was very knowledgeable and the only concern I had was the dreaded duty at the border.Give Lorne a call at Huron even through it was a long way from my place in Uxbridge the Tirecraft truck was going thru to Port Perry so that got me out of a jam.I bought two 16 inch tires and even through they were made in China they look great. Lorne might know a way of helping your with the shipping plus he has great tractor calendars !

Cheers Mike
