Good point Ryan. You can drive the car alone at your age, but can't purchase maintenance items.
Too bad so many your age just abuse most of those items.
Good luck. One thing though, soon enough you will be older.

Ryan, It is a real shame that some people abuse this things and mess it up for others who are trying to do a job. All I know is to make a list of what you need and buy extra amounts so your Mom or a friend can buy this stuff for you. When you get down to being ready to use the extra stuff you have, have someone buy your supplies to stock back up on. Our where our shop is, we almost have nothing local and I have to keep close watch on our stock room and make sure I don't get too low on anything. In the beginning, it cost more but after that you end up spending the same on your supplies, you just extras to keep you working. Your issue will end in less than a year.
Ours won't unless we move.

Ryan, you have hit on one of my biggest pet peeves. In stead of fixing the problem we put a band-aid on it and make all those who do the right thing suffer, yet those who abuse the system will just find away around it. A while back I ask my granddaughter to pick me up some Carb cleaner at wally world and they refused her as well. There will always be the few to ruin it for the majority.

There are all kinds of areas in our life where our nanny-state government is using this philosophy...

Your right and I could get on my soapbox about it, but it wouldn't do any good and it would probably turn the thread into a bashing and then we would have to shut it down. So it is a life lesson for Ryan.

When I was a child, I would walk down the roads, picking up beer and soda bottles. I would get 5 cents for quarts and 2 cents for the small ones. I would cash them in to buy boxes of 22 shells and go have a ball target practicing.

That is the way things are in life.....A few screw everything up for the rest of us!
My kids used to always say, "That's not fair"......I would tell them "That's right, and the sooner you understand it, the better off you will be."
