Alan,

I am sorry to hear the prognosis but I am glad they are at the point where they know what it is and can start treatment. You guys have been and always will be in our thoughts. Please let us know if you need anything. Keep your dad in the best spirits possible to help get him through the chemo. Let us know if testing for a donor is something anyone can check in to as being a candidate for him.

I'm sorry to hear that. God works miracles every day and I believe enables doctors and people to carry out his miracles.

You and your dad are in our thoughts. We have a friend who developed leukemia after he turned 50. Went through the treatments  for a year, and now has a clean bill of health and is back at work.  This disease is beatable!

Your dad and family are in our thoughts and prayers.

It sounds really scary, but according to the physician, it isn't hardly an issue at all.

I know what your talking about. One can get a little freaked out when doctors start talking. I'm just thankful and glad they know what they're doing and that they're good at it.
