Alan, we know we have to say goodbye to our parents sooner or later, but tell your Dad it's gonna be later....much later!  He can put it off a while yet!

They sent Dad home today. His blood count is up and they are waiting on more test results. He has more strength in his voice and he says he feels a lot better, but knows he has a long way to go.

Thanks for the support guys, it really has been a comfort. It's a long way from over until we get an answer or two (the c-word has been tossed around) but until we get more test results back, they have no idea what it is yet.

:thank_you: and I will continue to update as we get news.

That's great news!  Dad is doing much better as well, but has to stay another week or so of rehab.  Hope/pray tests show no "c" anywhere!

That's good news. I will continue to pray for a good outcome. The waiting on test results is difficult.

They have an appointment with the Doctors tomorrow. It sounds as if all the test results are in, but they want to go over them in person. Hoping for good news.
