This piece was in with all the JB stuff I got. What is it and where does it go?

I can tell it's a Bush Hog part for sure, and appears to be the front pto engagement setup for a JB, but I don't think it's like what's on any of mine...maybe for a JBII?  The pulley is for that cable, and the cable leads back to the left pedal in the dash tower.

It's a thing-a-ma-bobby that goes on the what-cha-callit! See that didn't take long!

Maybe someone with a JB II will know. It does have a cable on it that would go somewhere. :)

Actually, I can't even recall exactly what my pto engagement setup looks like.  I'll try to take a pic or 2 tomorrow for ya.

You would think so!  :smilewink:   If I wasn't so tired, and it wasn't so cool out, I'd go snap some pics now, but I don't have it in me at the moment.

Yes, it is the JB series pto engagement setup. Once I saw the diagram it jogged my memory.

Sorry was on my way to moms from work, just got to her house. Daniel got it figured out. He is the JB expert, I am just a newbie. Mine is missing the cable and the knob on the dash where you pull to lock in the front pto into place. Good deal you got a good part that would be hard to come by.

Looking at the picture and seeing the saddle box reminded me of this. Brian you do realize the if the left saddle box has 2 slots it was for a JBII and if it has one slot it was a JB1. The extra slot on the JBII is for the parking brake.

Here's some pics of this part installed on my original JBI.  As you can see my disengagement spring is broken.
