Got a 2003 Craftsman 917.273280. It's a 21 hp v-twin Briggs 407777 0121-e4. It hasn't done bad I got 2 acres to mow and little over 200' of driveway to plow. At the end of of the 08 season it was hunting a little so I rerbuilt the carb. It's been running good since.

I was a city boy when I bought this property in the country and didn't know anything about tractors but the bug has caught me. If I knew then what I know now I probably would have bought something older instead of new. My BIL has a Wheelhourse D-160 that is from the early 80's that he keeps saying he is going to get rid of, and he will let me have it cheap. Keeping my fingers crossed when the day gets here.

I know this is not a tech question. Just tyring to help the Craftsman section get started.
