Ok guys, I got the official go-ahead from my friends in WI that they're willing to host a plow day event on their property  :dancingbanana:  :dancingbanana:  :dancingbanana:

The time frame is still up in the air, right now they're thinking it will be a Fall event as I already did everything they were going to need done in the Spring (sorry  :D  )  but there's a possibility we could do something in the Spring as well if enough interest is shown...

So, what I need is to hear from anyone who MAY want to attend so I can gauge the amount of interest in this and we can plan accordingly.  I don't know how many members are close enough to attend or who is willing to travel (btw, if you're anywhere near me and want to attend but can't transport your tractor I can help out with that).

They're about 20 miles West of Monroe, WI.

Hope to hear some interest from the guys around here!

That would be close enough for me to come as a spectator.

It would be great if you folks can get this set up. Plow days are a blast! Arti, maybe someone has an extra plow you can use? According to the member map, we have quite a few members not too far away!

These events usually start small. A few weirdos like us who can't think of a better way to spend the day... Eventually they get much bigger.

Well I must admit I may be a bit too antsy considering how far away this is lol but I just wanted to get the word out early and give people time to make preparations. Hopefully we can find something for you to use Arti, what kind of a tractor would you be wanting to use?

MH81, I'm not expecting a huge turnout since I don't know how many weirdos like me there are close enough to attend but if anyone wants to come out and have some fun I'll consider it a success :D

Hmmm...5 hours for me.  My rule of thumb is that I attend all plow days that I am able, within a 3 hr drive.  So far, that has landed me with zero plow days, so I may have to expand my geography!  I tell ya, if the date was right, I'd throw one in the back of the truck and make the drive.  WI is full of Simplicity goons, and I could stop every 5 miles to meet n greet with some simpletractors club members.

Mrgreen, if you decide you'd like to head out for it we'd be happy to see you there, you might be able to drag a few more simplicity guys along with you!

Does that mean you'll make the ride out here Kenny? :D

More than likely my old MTD 990 A local has a plow for sale but up to now I haven't had a need for a plow..

I'm keeping my eyes open for some other plows to use with my other tractors when I get them done (right now I only have one for my Sears) so if I acquire one before then that I can't use I'll bring it along for you unless of course someone else volunteers one...
