decided to see what might be the best way to dispose of a vintage dille & McGuire reel edger (1/2 mower) that I know has been sitting around my grandfather's garage since at least the 50's; I haven't tried to restore it but it is in good shape so I think it would respond well to a little TLC.  maybe they are more common than I think and the best route for me to take is to trash it.......I just don't know.

I found a picture of one. Looks like a worthwhile keeper to me. Fix it up and sell or keep it, but I definitely wouldn't trash  it.

If you were to trash it, I would recommend cutting the handle several times to prevent it from poking through the trash bag.

If you got a couple more of those, you could make gang mowers.

Craigslist is usually the best bet.
