I worked yesterday building a new foot pedal throttle assembly for my mini loader. I have wanted to do this for a long time so at least i got the actual pedal , spring , hinge, mounting plate and cable linkage brackets made. Now I have to wait for a warmer day to install it. The current throttle control is on the dash and not handy to throttle up and down when loading the bucket and dumping the bucket.

You'll  enjoy  the foot throttle . Are you going to leave the hand throttle too ?  When I added a foot throttle on my PK  w/fel I left the dash throttle hooked up too with the foot throttle over riding the hand control , like the way the Case  backhoes  at work are  set-up .

Nice.

Going puller style!!

My buddy has them on all his tractors that he actually uses along with all his pullers.

That's the way I'd do it.  Its nice to set either a low RPM with the hand throttle and jump it up with the foot as needed, or for those jobs where you want a good constant RPM.

Or you could set it up the way Cat does on their crawlers, a de-cellerator pedal.

I have thought about doing one like ol' stonebreaker suggests.  That would be neat on a plow tractor, too.
