I have been working with someone this evening in Finland for parts on a Clinton 2500 Red Horse engine.

Excuse me for just a minute while I clean the drool off my keyboard, its hard to type underwater.....

After looking at parts manuals for the 1000th time wishing I could by myself, I decided I might as well ask if anyone happens to have a big Clinton.   These are 9 and 10 horsepower engines that compare to Wisconsins. They were made to compete with Wisconsin.

They irritate me because for some reason, I cannot find a Clinton Red Horse series engine.  2500 or a 2790.  You do a search for them, and I see two threads for a 2500 out there in internet land and one 2790 post.  That's it.  Nobody replies saying "Oh yeah, I have four in my garage" like they do for Wisconsins.

For as many parts as I have for them, Clinton had to be selling those suckers.

Does anyone have one?  Maybe you want to sell it?  :D

I have never heard of them or knew they existed. What do they look like?

Red Horse engines look something like these threads here:

They had that "ray" style flywheel the whole production run, even up into the 1962 model number changes.
