Well, putting the front blade on the GT6000 didn't chase away the snow like it's done the past 2 years. This is what I woke up to this morning:

I'd say we've gotten 8-10 inches of snow today.

This is the first time I've gotten to use the blade. Whenever that was that we had 24" of snow in one fast dump, I had been contemplating buying the blade off of CL. Once the snow melted, I went and grabbed it! Got it for $100, in near-perfect condition. Been tripping over it and banging my shins on it ever since. I KNEW it would come in handy some day!!

It's supposed to get down to 0 or -1 tonight in NW Arkansas. I think the snow is finished for now.

You know it's bad (in central texas) when your beer fridge is warmer inside than it is out side!

Definitely been a 'strange' winter here.

I'm  SW of Cleveland, OH a bit, and all I got was a light dusting.  Just barely enough to cover the sidewalk, and not enough to even bother with.

Just like the last system that came through, I was in the Northern edge of it, and folks to the South and East got all the snow.

The forecast is for some cold, but no snow to amount to anything:

Uh, I don't think we could handle that kind of cold. That makes me want to head farther south.

I grew up in Laredo Texas.. My wife doesn't get me outside much at these temps.. crazy part.. This does not make for a day off from school for young kids.. Life goes on as if it's normal..

A coworker just left today on a hunting trip up north west somewhere. He left 50* weather and headed to all that -20* temps. I don't envy him one bit.
