Ah, that's when you choose the Supersuckers option. That's when you put on your Ipod and play the Supersuckers loud enough to be heard over the engine noise, that way your hearing loss is from loud music instead of loud engines.

Reverend, I have to say that I almost feel out of my chair with that one.

Thank You for the laugh,

Brian

I have been looking at these ATV muffs on EBay, like $15 plus shipping. Made for about the same size cc engine. Anyone try this route?

One thing that can cause a loud muffler, is a dirty carb or a carb not set properly.

I am going to attach a Farmall Cub muffler to my '69 112. I think it will go on w/o too much modification. I think the upright stacks with rain caps look kinds neat on garden tractors.

Seeing I had an extra muffler around I cut the top off and found these mufflers have no baffles in them, so i went down to the local ATV shop and picked up some muffler packing. Packed the can and welded the top back on. Huge difference in noise, much quieter with a deeper tone, had to adjust the carb a little with the increased backpressure but nothing big. Overall huge difference
