Very well put Troy, thanks for putting it into words.  This is a great group of folks with common interests and a true spirit of caring.

Troy, you have a way with words there that really says what needs to be said.

I have read equipment forums for years before coming onto here and beginning to join in.  Many of the "other forums" were full of arguments and people getting ticked off, hurt, and angry over silly things, and nobody doing beans about it.

I'm thankful we have moderators here who keep us all straight!  I know I'm a handful!  :D  In all seriousness, you folks do help make this what it is and keeping it a place where kids could read without learning vocabulary (and/or ways to say it in writing without saying it in writing) and without all the junk that we put up with everywhere else.

I've never been an "insider" online and don't pretend that I'll be one here.  What's important is in the short time I've been here I don't feel like an "outsider" the way some places make you feel.  I don't dread opening a post wondering who's going to be thumping his chest insulting some "little guy" while his buddies laugh and moderators take cheap shots.  A good place to learn about tractors in peace.  So thanks again as the OP said.

Hang around with us a while and you will become an 'insider'. The main goal here (as I see it), is to have a great place to learn about our tractors without the harassment. By doing so, it has also became a place where folks begin to feel like we're all one big family.

You have hit the nail on the head again, Troy. Lots of us feel exactly as you have said, but no one seems able to express it quite so well. This is a wonderful place to feel at home.

I have been a member of this Great website for almost 3 years now, and with the end of 2013 just around the corner, I took some time to remember some of the things that have stood out to me, or things that had happened this past year. Yes, we all have our different brands of tractors that we collect, yes, we butt heads with each other from time to time, and yes, we ride each other about some of the attachment ideas or brain storms that some of the members come up with. But through it all, we manage to find a way to all join together whenever there is a time of need.

We prayed for Brian (Texas Deere & Horse) due to hard times when his folks lost their house. We cried when Dale (dstaggs) was taken from us with cancer. We pray for Daniel's (oldcowhand) father while recovering from surgery. We rejoiced for Scott (sacsr) as he is in the final stages of completing his Bush Hog collection. And Thanked God that Travis (trav1s) finally completed his John Deere 120 refurbishment. (just kidding). And now we are called together again, to join in prayer for Bob (Robert Webb) and his wife Kimme, as they travel a road that nobody wants to venture.

I guess what I'm trying to point out is this. That no matter how different we are as individuals, or how far apart we may live from one another, we always seem to be able to join together in unity as brothers and sisters, and come together with a family commitment to each other, that you just won't find anywhere else. This place is like no other, and the members here are so dedicated in looking out for each other, and finding a way to reach out and help each other, that it is really hard to grasp if you really think about it. We really have something very special here, and I am just so honored to be able to say that I am a part of it.

So Thank you guys! Thank you all for taking a few minutes, hours, or even days, out of our busy life styles, to give just enough to make a difference to someone else's lives, mine included. You all are truly inspirational whether you admit or not

Thank you Troy, We members are united!  Gttalk staff (YOU ALSO GEORGE) Site Sponsors,Site Supporters, Contributors and Members.I also am very proud to live, learn and help our fellow brothers and sisters on our site! Shawn              P.S.ELFY Hit the thank button before George boots me!

I am in no way able to relay a message in words the way Troy can. You hit it right on the head. I can not agree more. Thank you Troy for putting your thoughts into words so well.

Thank you to George and all of the members, moderators, contributors and sponsors for making this site such a great place to hang out :worship: (and get me into trouble with my wife :poke: ).

The knowing that help is right here for anything which may come up or go down is a good feeling.  :smilewink:  :D

I got home from work tonight and logged on as usual, and WOW, I was over whelmed by all of the "Thanks" that were waiting for me. I believe there were 46 total.

Please guys, don't Thank me, as this isn't about me. It is about us, as a Family, a group, and as a team. I don't know you all personally, but from reading your various posts throughout the past three years, it was easy in getting to know each of you, and in finding out that we all feel the same way about this site, and that we all have big hearts. I merely wrote down what we all feel, and tried to show us all that we have something special here, and I don't want us to ever forget that or take it for granted. Reminders like this is what keeps us united and strong. Without these reminders, can sometimes make you feel left out, unimportant, or not being appreciated for you input. I think it is great how we all are willing to reach out and do the best we can in helping those in need.

I appreciate the Thank You's, but really, the true Thank You's go out to all of us.

Troy, The THANKS are well deserved, as most of us here can't express our feelings into words in the eloquent manner you do! That's why you got so many THANKS!! :worshippy1:

I haven't been here very long.  But this has become my favorite forum and favorite group of people.   The support here is unreal for more than just our garden tractor projects.

Honestly, I have no garden tractor projects going on right now.  Everything we have is finished but throwing a new deck on the power king.  I still enjoy hanging out here and reading stories.

As usual Troy, you have a way of putting thoughts shared by the masses here into written words  .  This is a great place to be, I too am real happy to be a part.
