Finally gettin some better weather so I grabbed a few more pics of the aftermath, I actually walked right up onto the roof of a grainary without much difficulty, lots of cleanup to do but its been good for a few laughs and a couple snowdays from work. Wife can get her Focus out this morning but for two days the only way out has been my old pos beater Bronco II, bought that thing for $200 five years ago and its saved us a few times already.

Thats the one toy I dont happen to own, but the drifts are so hard I bet if I put skis on the front of my Ford LGT I could pull the grandkids up and over them on a tobogan...lol

That is wise Kenny!! I got an email this morning advising that our Dallas Distribution Center was closed due to Ice. A Few minutes later it was corrected "due to power outage". Don't know that that makes a difference? If Ice has taken out the power lines nothing is going to go till it's fixed.

Have no snow yet, they are predicting 2-5" Sunday. But it was 4 degrees when I left the house this morning.

Just for the record we have our ac on today

Just another winter in the Carolinas-Last weekend, with lows of 20 and highs of 40, our heat quit working on Friday, when no HVAC parts stores were open.  Kept the house warm through the weekend by running the gas fireplace till I could get parts Monday.  Today, I too turned on the AC!

This is starting out to look like a bit of a freak winter for us, three major storms in five weeks is not the norm, what can you do but take pics and have a few laughs. I'll be able to make a nice tobogan hill for the grandkids before they come to visit, and tell the classic stories of "when I was a kid we....." LOL.

Its really not that hard to deal with, in fact at my age Im starting to hate the summer heat far more than the cold of winter, missing a couple days work because Im snowed in is no longer a bad thing in my books ;)

Too cold to spend alot of time outside without a cab but Ive at least got access to everything now and can drive around the house, alot of the snow will still have to moved away from buildings before spring melt.

That was a real winter storm. We haven't had one like that in 15 years.

It's kind of fun moving all that snow around, until you run out of places to

put it.

Thanks for all the great pictures.
