Started to do a little checking on the wheel base differences between the 2 and found that the frames are the same length, but the front axles are in different locations. The JB I has a set back of 6 1/2" from the front of the frame and the JB II has a setback of 11 1/2". So far besides the rear hubs, this is the only difference I have found.

This is to answer Scott's wheel base question.

Here is some pictures of the axle location on the tractors.

So the axle mounts are welded in there? Frame side rails seem to be the same.

There is a difference in the side boxes also, not sure why they have different amounts of slots and different lengths of slots?

These are the 2 left side swing open boxes, 2 slots verses 1?

These are the 2 right side control boxes. Both have 3 slots but different lengths?

Kenny, Both frames are the same length, and the cross member is welded in.

So if someone needed a JB I frame, you could use the II, just move the axle forward!

Yes they could, so far that's the only difference I have found in the 2 tractors.

Brian, on the box with the 3 slots, with the outside slots being longer, it would appear someone has cut the slots longer on the bottom end.  Especially the far right one looks not to be a good round end of that slot, making me thing someone adapted another cable control & had to cut the slit further.  On that one I can pretty much make out where the end of of that slot originally ended.

Look at the right side slot where the arrow points.  Seems I can make out the start of the round original bottom of the OE slot.  The left arrow points to where the OE bottom slot was.  Looks like the cut below that point is a little rough compared to the top.

No, but dang ear everything else on that entire tractor had been cut, torched, or welded!  It's the JB that I built Hogzilla from.

The difference in the slots on the two models is because on the JB1 the parking brake is on the left had side floor. The left side box just has the box release lever and the knob to use to move the box. On the JBII the extra slot on the box is because they moved the parking brake off the floor to the box.

Below is a picture of the JBI parking brake
