I'm going to have to buy her platform shoes... reason is she seems like she has about two inches of air under her.  She's very proud of herself and we are too.  She won't get a lot of meat out of it, but it's a positive start.  She can continue to hunt antler only for the rest of this year, who knows, maybe she will get another one.  Time will tell.

Nice Going KK!

Grandpa was right, just a little smaller than her smile.

Personally, I think the younger deer are better eating.

Last year, I had some of the best sausage and crackers that I ever had.  They had a little had a little jar of horseradish to compliment these yummys.  The man said he grew the horseradish and as far as the sausage, He and his friends take the treck up to Lancaster to have the sausage made.  They took 5 deer up last year.  They wait for the call and return to pick it all back up.

She did take one. Good grief. :D

Congratulations! Might be a doe, but remember that antlers are not edable!

Google deer antler dog treats.. see the price.. a buck pays for itself if you sell the antlers.. This is coming from someone with six dogs.. and yes.. they get antler once a mont as a treat.
