A pretty good little storm going here today too.  Not as much as Calgary but nasty none the less.  425 John deere chained up locking diff.  hydraulic lift and angle 54" blade. Bolens 1050 chained up with 42 " snowblower.  In reserve. Bolens 1050 with 42" blade no chains so I have to swap chains from one of the other machines.

We had one little 4" drop 4 weeks ago, nothing since. This thing is scaring all the snow away!

Yes sir and a very nice looking one at that. I knew what it is.

I'm pretty much ready. I rebuilt this camper frame to use instead of a roof top carrier.103_9849.JPG

Just finishing up on this snow blower project The paint on the wheel weights is drying now and will be installed later today. Had to black out the chute extension so the headlights didn't reflect back at the operator.

The past 3 years we hardly got any snow so I downgraded the snow team this year. No cab, smaller blower ect.

Since I did this we'll probably have one of the worst winters in years :wallbanging:

I think I may move that EK to the other side of the garage as the trailer queens do not like salt or mud!

Ok, now ya dun did it!

Have you no compassion for the residents of W. NY?

You have just guaranteed that there will be record snowfalls, which will most likely continue well into the late Spring.

I sure hope you are proud of your self!

Danged kids anyway :D :D :D

Not yet. I'm in the middle of an engine change on the 1050. I'm also installing the hydraulic lift kit.

When that is done then I can start getting the snow caster in operation.

Dont have any pics till tomorrow but a few years ago i gave up on removing snow with a gt. I now have a 9' hiniker c-plow on my 2500 silverado and do 3 driveways around me then go up to the neighboring town and do some light commercial plowing with a buddy of mine. All in all a 2-4" snowfall nets me about 4 hrs of plowing time and a couple hundred bucks cash.
If we get lots then i make more because we charge by the hour.
