Many have seen the transpirings of the week and know that I bought the Springfield garden cart from Rocking416. And some actually know I have it home now, and have been working to get one of my model 36 Springfields out of the shop. I wanted the all original, but settled for the one closer to the door that I knew could be made to run again. I need a lesson on Briggs vertical shaft governors, because I screwed up enough to where I ended up just unhooking the governor from the carb and wiring the carb where it would run well below full throttle... yikes lol. Anyways, on to the pics of a sight that probably hasn't been seen since the dawn of the Internet lol.

Oh crap, gotta go to TapaTalk to hook on the pics lol.

Tractor is 1963 model year. The cart was built between 1961 and 1966, not sure what year this one is as they are all the same model number as the first year.

Looks good Casey. Nice to see that history out on the lawn.

I can see those headlights where added, but where they originally available

as an option?

Yes those headlights were added, but there was a lighting kit available for them, but I do not have any for the smaller models, only the larger models. I don't plan to change the lights on this one, as they did do an ok job, short of going over the decals... Ugh.
