I hadn't recognized the engine, just not to familiar with the older ones. I just thought with the Lancaster Pa stamped in the deck, it is cool little mower.

That is a neat little mower.  I'd love to hear that Clinton lug down in high grass.

It has a Fairbanks Morse starter on it.  Its unusual to find a recoil starter (much less Fairbanks Morse, more of a high performance starter for the day) on a rotary mower of that age.  It says to me that Mast was no "el cheapo" company.

Here's one in a little nicer shape that I saw at a show this past year.

And it was for sale at a much lower price.

I just saw a hand powered water pump on a tv antique show, last night. The pump had Mast cast into it.
