I need a pair of tubes for my 6.00-12" rear tires. I find them online, but my local store does not have them in stock.

Will a 450/530-12" tube work in my 6-12" or do I need to pony up and by them online?

I think the 450/530-12 tubes would be really stretched out to fill the 6-12 tires, thus reducing the life of the tubes..

It would be better to get the correct tubes.

In the olden days, the tubes were thick enough for the stretch.  But today's tubes start out thin, plus don't seem to have the resilience of years past.  I'd spend a little more and get proper size tubes.

Try your local auto parts place. My NAPA has done well for me. Good Luck, Rick

I'd run the smaller tubes.

Its not like they are going to run at highway speeds or carry a 10,000 lb. load.
