I checked, maybe I missed it. My wiring is shot and it's gutted. Wasn't much to begin with anyway. My Volt reg is rusted to all heck and getting replaced.

Anyone happen to have the wiring diagram handy? Thanks guys!

Got everything rewired last night. I'm able to turn it over with the key switch now. Problem I'm having is still no spark.

I noticed that the headlights also don't work. The ground is wired into the coil. I'm wondering if the coil could be bad.

Just to make sure. The only ground wire the coil should have going to it, is the one coming from the points, and going to the negative side of the coil. It should not have a chassis or battery ground going to it. If it does, it cannot charge the coil.

I found the following wiring diagram for Kohler battery ignition.

The ground goes through the points and the condenser is in parallel with the points.

Maybe someone knows the expected resistances for the primary and secondary circuits in the coil.
