HI.

Up for sale is probably one of the nicest, most well maintained, original paint, newest gear drive John Deere garden tractors left in existence. It is still wearing its original paint and tires. The paint is in excellent shape showing only minor wear down by the foot areas. The original Good Year tires have NO weather checking and hold air perfectly. My dad bought this tractor new in 1984 with a 38 inch deck.. He only used it for about five years and 100 hours then parked it inside a dark garage. Fast forward to 2007: I bought it from him in 2007 to cut my two acre lot at home. When I got it from him, it needed the carb rebuilt and a battery, plus a $600 trip to the John Deere service department for new primary and secondary drive belts, and a new half sheave and hub on the variator shaft. I have also since added a $350 hydraulic lift kit to make it easy to lift the deck and the snow blade. It also has the optional lighted taillights. It just had the battery replaced with a new one in November of 2012. It also comes with two copies of the operators manual and all the papers I have collected to work on it and order parts. I also replaced the seat in 2010. The tractor now has a mere 309 hours on it and runs great. I have kept a maintenance log on it since my possession showing the 25 hour oil changes and other minor repairs. The steering is still tight and drives like new. If you are looking for really nice original paint and tire 200 series for your collection that you could take to a show and be proud of, this would be it. Or, if you want to still continue to cut grass with a classic that can be done too.

The model number is: M00210X225126

This great looking and running piece of equipment comes complete with the hydraulic lift and 38 inch deck.

That is a nice machine, if you like the paint color.

Even if you don't like the paint color, it still isn't normal to find a tractor in that good condition.

Did a 210 come from the factory with a four wheel mower deck like that? I don't think the deck is as old as the tractor.

The later 200 series came with 4 guide wheel decks. I can't remember offhand what year the cutoff was. Same deck as the Kawi powered 165-185's, the 200 series had them before the 165-185's were introduced.

Man, that tractor is in great condition. One could almost switch brands seeing one in that shape.

That is a loaded 210 with electric PTO, hour meter, and add on hydraulic life.  Sweet machine to transport me back to my youth.
