Thanks for all the pictures and posts about the great time you all had there. For those of us who can't get near a plow day these reports are great fun to see!

The children and i were talking about things they enjoyed from the weekend, Does anyone know who this young gent was? Is he or a friend a member here?
attachicon.gifimage.jpg
The reason I ask is he was an impressive young plowman. He had the quiet confidence of someone who has grown up on a machine or around farm equipment. When I helped him flip his coulter, he thanked me and listened more than talked when I explained why.

My daughter had the pleasure of following him for a while and they talked a couple of times. She commented on how polite he was and how well he was doing. Whoever he is, he and his parents/guardians should be pretty proud of themselves.

On that note, I would like to comment on the behavior or the kids I saw there. I can't remember a time when I have seen that many parents/guardians who were confident in their kids proper behavior. (If anyone saw my two cherubs doing anything wrong, let me know :D )
At lunch I overheard one young lad was told to slow down a little while going across the field and word got back to Grandpa. Grandpa was pretty direct about the hot ridding and how it wasn't going to happen any more. I think it was the exuberance of youth meets reality, but the speed limit was followed pretty well the rest of the times I saw them. That was the only minor 'infraction' I even heard of. If these kids are any indication of the next generation, there may yet be hope for us all.

Your two remind me a lot of my sister and I...   :smilewink:

 George,

Your dad, wife and yourself did a great job with the pictures. I'm glad to see that you got to plow more than I think you normally do. Keep up the good work.

It was nice to visit with you guys again this year. Just do your Daughter a favor and quit messing around with her plow now that it's dialed in again :poke:

It was good to see you guys also. Yeah, Allison wasn't to happy when she couldn't drop the plow and go. I completely forgot I had changed it last fall to fit my Cub.

That's weird. I even edited the link and it still goes there. Will have to look in to it.

I think it is tapatalk breaking the link, it works fine on the pc too. It was taking me to the same page it took Ken when viewing it from tapatalk.
