You must have patience. Keep looking and you will find another one.

The next one you find might be better or cheaper or closer.

Patience is key in this hobby..... Rushing only leads to you overpaying most of the time

Wait, keep a eye out, and enjoy the hunt.

I am waiting myself for lots of things.

Best advice you are going to get, Sam. You will find one eventually too.

try using Search Tempest On line

http://www.searchtempest.com/

it will check Craiglist ( several areas) and e-bay at the same time

now you have the word out that you are looking for one - maybe a member might help you find it

time will tell

good luck

Patience, grasshopper, patience :D :D :D

The first one that we know of didn't 'surface' until 08/2011.  That's the yellow one that pulltilbroke bought. It was in the Des Moines Iowa area.

Then the one I have now surfaced in 10/12 and was bought by a fella in the Des Moines Iowa area as well.

The eBay one surfaced early this month.

That's roughly a year apart for all three.  Kind of interesting.

I have talked to two very reliable 'Bolens Gurus" that have told me that they have seen/known of a couple.  They are in different areas of the country which leads me to believe that they aren't talking about the same tractors.

So, they are out there, but just haven't been 'discovered' yet.

Plus, a fella from Canada who owns one has contacted me wanting info on the HDT.  It wouldn't be out of the realm of possibility for that to cross the boarder at some point.

The HDT1000 is pretty much like the G11.

Not too long ago there were only 2 known, now there are 7 or 8.

Yup, patience is a virtue, all good things come to he who waits, anticipation is half the fun,----- and a whole lot more sayings that are probably true, but right now you want what you want and you want it now!!! I find that banging my head on a tree sometimes helps in situations like this, lol.

I look at that list of tractors that Collecor has already and then think of a man that is farming with a mule. Happy Thanksgiving.

Sam, HDTs are not going to just be falling out of the trees like leaves.

You KNOW where two of them are.  Mine and the fella that is close to you.  You've already let him know that you are interested.  Make sure that you ask him to let you have first dibs if/when he wants to sell it.

That's exactly what I did when mine showed up. Another guy in Des Moines bought it, but I got 'first in line', and it paid off.

Besides, you are still young.  I know that at least ONE of the owners is an old fart   When he kicks off, you might just get the chance to get the one he has :D :D :D
