Just bought one of these manifolds off eBay (NOS) from the same guy I bought my Springfield manuals from a couple years back. I know this manifold belongs on Springfield model 36 with the Briggs vertical shaft 6 hp engine (6-8 hp Briggs would be the same). So I believe mine may have been out of a Springfield dealers shop. This manifold is designed to use an updraft Briggs carb on it, so if it has the carb, it is a bonus, but not necessary since those are everywhere. Anyways, I am looking for these manifolds that are no longer available for use on Springfield restorations with later model Briggs engines. Here is a pic on my all original Springfield of the carb setup.

Casey, if I'm understanding right, you want a 295759?  The manifold looks to be still available at $34.

Most places seem to be saying NLA. But at $35 each I can't stand that price. Planning to stock up on these things.

The bad part is my cost for resale is only a little bit less.  That's coming from my Briggs distributor, it would come (if available) in a pretty red Briggs box.  They are usually fairly good at saying what is obsolete and what isn't, although the last price update was 2008.
