was reading the Nov/Dec issue of Lawn & Garden Tractor magazine, and on page 23 they talk about a long frame 110.  is that just another way to describe the square fender series? or is there a short/long frame square fender tractor & if so what are the differences?

Ya got me on this one.  I can tell you this after owning a RF and a SF 110.  The SF 110 is a bit larger than the RF tractor.  The design is quite a bit different.  The RF tractor repairs are done on the bottom side of the frame.  The SF tractor allow you access to things from the top by removing the fender pan.  It is MUCH easier to change belts/adjust the variator on the SF tractors than the RF tractors.  As for length difference, I cannot help.
