This isn't for myself but we had an accident at work yesterday at 430pm. A young man was involved in an underground mining accident. He was 32 years old and left behind a wife and 2 young kids.

Very sad day for all of us at the mine. We all try our best to work safe and take care of each other but in all industries accidents happen.

Please keep Ryan's family in your prayers. It's going to he a very difficult time for them this holiday season.

And to everyone else out there be safe in all that do and take care of your fellow working

I hate hearing about things like this.  I guess it's part of life though.  Prayers for the family as well as the co-workers.

Prayers and condolences for Ryan and his family as well as his work extended family. Mining is a dangerous job and far to often it is a job that is taken for granted. I have said you men and women who mine for us are better than I. I hope you get some peace and can enjoy your Thanksgiving and Christmas. MAy God Bless You and yours.    Roger.

His family will be in my prayers. Always hard to understand, especially at such a young age.

Praying in VA.  This will be a hard week for them.

You folks take care of yourselves, we owe all of you a lot for what you do to keep the lights on nationwide.  Sometimes we don't realize how much danger is involved until we hear of something like this.  At least I don't.

I'm sorry to hear about this especially this time of the year. I have a lot of family that were killed in the mines of Eastern Ky. It's a dangerous job. Praying for comfort for you & Ryan's family. Coal keeps our lights on no matter where it's dug.
