In a dual transmission power king which one changes the gears from forward to reverse?

Either one would be capable of reverse. It gives you 3 speeds backwards. If you put both trans in reverse you would go forward.

Both transmissions are exactly the same. If you want to go in reverse, you can put either one in reverse, and the other will change how fast you back up.

Third gear is a 1:1 ratio, so if you have either one in third gear, it is virtually the same as having a single tranny tractor.

Here's a spreadsheet that I made listing gear ratios and tractor speeds with the single trans and tandem trans tractors.

Since both transmissions are the same there is a lot of duplication. In the end you are gaining 2 slower speeds-Both trans are in 1st, one trans in 1st and the second trans in 2nd. When both trans are in 2nd, the result is very close to one trans in 1st and the second in 3rd.

Hopefull the attachment will be easy to read.
