What's with the huge stacks. I'd rather have a stock exhaust that isn't sticking up in the way and it's also a burn hazard.

I LIKE it!  Pretty cool Custom!   They don't all have to be orig colors.  Why not have one that is "neat" and different, just not the same old ones that everyone else owns??   Price is about 75% too much, but I like the tractor.

They are only original once and it seems like everyone is doing this today.

I guess as long as you keep it for yourself its ok but I always laugh when people expect to sell them once they have been cut and painted. In my view (From a collector standpoint)  the tractor is pretty much worthless once it has been cut up and heavily modified.

Let me offer a different view. It's painted, it won't rust into the ground.

I'll have to rely on others for this one, but I would guess the original engine was toast. It got a heart transplant, and it continues to live. Most machines don't make it past having an engine die, they get parted.

The diamond tread can be removed, and you only have a few rivet holes to fill.

Are there things I'm missing? Is it supposed to have side shields?

Steering wheel is different, but is that the original column?

I continue to stand by my argument, better to painted wrong than to be rusty.

What about it? I put a lot of work into building that. Not everybody has the same taste or needs. I try real hard not to criticize the rest of you guys tractors and I think we can be a little more civil on here. I think I'll talk to a Mod.

Yes it is a HT20D looking at the pic. It also looks like the orginal engine. Other then the paint job and stack it looks really complete and orginal. The dash looks like they had maybe cut it some but they did come with a plastic dash and probly broke at some time.

We're all busy cleaning and restocking the lounge. Kitty litter and nacho cheese, not a good combo.

So the engine is original? What motor did they use?

EDIT: I looked it up, Ducati 2 cylinder?

So that filter  on the side of the frame near the foot rest is original?

From the pics the motor should be a Wisconsin WD860 diesel and that filter on the frame is the fuel filter and is original. Now the stack and the air filter is not original.

Also the tractor is a 80 or 81 not a 1975

Yaaaaaaaawwwwn.  So, what your saying is the tractor isn't as old as the OP said it was. And... and it's not as modified as what he said?  And being a diesel it's worth waaaaay more than what he thought???  But, but.... but it's painted black and it's got a funny air filter.

Um hummmmm. . .       Well!
