I stop at a local Junk yard that on my way home from the bank on fridays and take look around. I have save 2 or 3 bolens tractors over the years out of this place and just about missed saveing this ride a matic. I was walking by the pile of junk and I looked up the pile and seen a tail of this Ride a matic pokeing out.  Dad and I went back today to grab it for parts as you can see shes in bad shape but there is good parts on it that you never know when you need them.

Its 1961 from the looks of it but it is missing the tag.

Good Save

Looks like she's already seen a bit of the crusher though :(

Makes you sick to see these scrapped or sitting in someones yard outside.

I talked to the worker that unloaded it at the yard he said it was smashed up befor they unloaded it off the guys trailer. He said it looked like they dumped it on there trailer then pile more on it.   There was no engine or hood and grill any were so they must be long gone.

Jerome, you'd better kill that picture with the Deere fast before your reputation is tarnished completely.

Poor Bolens! Nice save, looks like lots of good parts.

Too bad it's not a 58! I'd help you out and take it off your hands if it was.
